Bot Mode gap analysis

What shipped (ai

Lead: The deck, Threads, Tasks, Bot tab, trimmed panel and project composer shipped and work live. One real bug: every bot's colour is the default tan. The tan message bubbles it caused are fixed (#726); the stage still uses that tan for every bot. Five designed pieces are not built yet, and phone, dark mode and threads with real tasks are not checked live.

Status after the build

Built, merged and deployed

ai.allternit.com and m.allternit.com are live. Desktop runtime r20261022.1432 is installed on this Mac. The live check on Desktop waits for you to answer a macOS Keychain prompt.

Bugs

Bug Evidence Fix
Every bot's colour is the default tan #B08D6E All 13 bots store botProfile.accentColor = #B08D6E (checked through the live API). Gem's own art is pink and purple. Take the colour from the bot's look or sprite when it was never picked; save it on the bot
Your message bubbles turned tan for every bot (#722) Fixed in #726: bubbles stay neutral unless the bot has its own colour. Live on web and m.allternit.com; Desktop runtime r20261022.1316 staged (applies on restart) Done
The stage wash is the same tan for every bot Same cause Same fix
A:// does not open its main chat like the others Not reproduced: the Bots rail tile and the Home Teammates row both open its main chat on the stage Need where you clicked it
B

Designed, not built

Piece (design page) Status
Status word under the name in the top pill ("Searching the web", "Needs you") Not built; the pill shows name and thread only
Task card in the conversation ("Tasks in this thread 2 of 4") Not built; tasks are only in the Tasks tab
Subtasks under each task Partial: the plan is a flat list; hand-offs show as subagents
Needs-you sheet on phone Approvals stay inline cards; no sheet
Project home in the full Bots home layout Partial: To: row, team strip and Threads button match; the project banner and details column are the old layout
C

Not checked live

  • ai.allternit.com phone layout and the m.allternit.com app with real data (Storybook only).
  • Dark mode in the running app (Storybook only).
  • A thread with real tasks and subagents (Gem's threads have none).
  • Vendor-pack threads such as Claude Duet bots (deck wired, not opened live).
  • Channel threads have no deck, by design; say if you want it there too.
