iOS parity check

Lead: Projects, Automation Tasks and the Artifact editors now match the web on the simulator, side by side below. Nothing is on the App Store build, and two checks are still open: your real iPhone, and saving in an editor.

A

Where each fix stands

The project page shots below show the card layout. Another session has since merged a dashboard layout into this branch, so project pages now open on a dashboard. I have not checked that layout, and the build on your iPhone does not have it.

table
| Fix | Simulator, sample data | Your iPhone | Merged || Bot project page | ok | warn: installed, not checked | no || Chat project page | warn: code changed, not checked | warn: installed, not checked | no || Projects list | ok | warn: installed, not checked | no || Automation List, Graph, Calendar | ok | warn: installed, not checked | no || Artifact window for stored artifacts | warn: Doc and Design only | no: needs the web route | no || Docs session opens the editor | ok | no: needs the web route | no || Sheets, Slides, Design sessions | warn: browser only | no: needs the web route | no || Saving an edit in an editor | no: not tested | no: not tested | no |

Project page: your complaint

The old screen had a description and a thread list. The new page has the web's sections. Your iPhone before, iOS now, web phone iOS now and Desktop width Cards: iOS and web phone

C

Project page: taps tested

  • Top of page, tapped on the simulator and working: Needs you, a bot, the ⋮ menu, Customize appearance, Team list, Open team lanes.
  • Lower on the page, tapped and working: Delegate, Thread graph, a thread, Board.
  • Not tapped: Library, Routines, Status page, Memory, Context.

A row with no session was the dead tap. It now opens the thread's plan and becomes the chat when the thread starts. Delegate and Thread graph: iOS and web Menu, Team list and Board on iOS, web menu

Artifact editors

iOS runs the web's own editor code, so the two can't drift apart. In the browser shots, that code runs at the new route from a local build, with sample data. The sample artifacts are read-only, so they show the viewer side of the window. Dashboard, Ops, Motion, Image, Video and PDF were not opened. Not built yet

  • Automation: no Edit form, Heartbeat list or agent picker, or New task wizard.
  • Project page on the phone: Team, Board and Flow are lists, not canvases. There is no Folder card. Status has no close, reopen or proof links.
  • Projects list: code projects are not listed.
  • Artifact thumbnails: library cards show an icon, not a preview of the content.
  • Agents can't edit an open Docs, Sheets or Slides file from the phone. What they make opens as its own artifact.

Decision for you

Merge the web route for the editors? It adds new pages only, and merging deploys ai.allternit.com. The editors can't open on your iPhone without it.
