iPhone app: what's left before submitting
Short answer
The app's code is finished. You can't submit it yet: nothing is signed for your developer account, and the app isn't set up in App Store Connect.
What I checked just now
| Item | State |
|---|---|
| Desktop gaps PR #1983 | Open draft, not merged |
| Team ID in the project | Empty |
| Signing certificate on this Mac | One Apple Development certificate, no Distribution certificate |
| Universal Links file (ai #872) | Open, still has the placeholder team ID |
What you do
- Send me the team ID from developer.apple.com → Membership (10 characters).
- Create the app record in App Store Connect (bundle ID com.allternit.mobile).
- Approve the listing text in AppStore/listing.md.
- Make the APNs key (.p8) for push notifications.
- In Clerk, rename the app to Allternit and turn on Sign in with Apple and account self-delete.
- In Clerk, allow the native redirects for Google and GitHub.
- Make a demo account for Apple's reviewer, with a cloud computer that stays on.
- Answer the encryption question (WireGuard).
- Say go to merge #1983 and ai #872. Merging #872 deploys production.
What I do after the team ID
- Put the team ID in the project and the Universal Links file.
- Make a signed build on the bot iPhone and test everything with a real account.
- Take the App Store screenshots (6.9" and 6.5").
- Upload to TestFlight.
- Submit for review when you say go.
